The Airwing Honorary Officers Group consists of recruited honorary officers who do recreational flying as well as observation officers with specialist skill in supporting aerial based operations and a passion for the environment and its preservation.

The Group gives an opportunity for these pilots and observation officers to do their recreational flying within a conservation frame work, assisting other honorary officer groups, Ezemvelo KwaZulu-Natal Wildlife and other partner conservation organisations, therefore flying for a noble cause.

The Airwing Honorary Officers Group remains under the direct control and for the use of the Ezemvelo KwaZulu-Natal Wildlife Honorary Officer Corps and the Ezemvelo KwaZulu-Natal Wildlife structures.
